Lotty Carrington is a Portuguese-born, New York-based singer-songwriter who blends pop, R&B, soul and contemporary influences into emotionally honest music. At twenty, she is on her eighth release — she began at fifteen with “Hoje,” a Portuguese-language ballad, and built her audience through bilingual singles, including the 2024 Italian collaboration “Just Friends” with Nicolò Filippucci.

She studies at The New School in New York, developing an acoustic pop sound shaped by artists from Amy Winehouse and Adele to Olivia Dean and Raye. Though she credits New York as decisive in her formation as an artist, her heart remains in Porto — the tie that brought her home to record the EP with a Portuguese team.

Her debut EP, “We’ve All Loved Like This — Ficamos Por Aqui,” was written in New York and recorded and produced entirely at Arda Studios in Porto. Across five intimate stories, it traces the way a generation experiences love — intense, confusing, fleeting, and often unfinished. Four songs are in English; the title track “Ficamos Por Aqui” is in Portuguese; and “Show Me How You Feel” moves between both languages within a single track.
