The Artist
"A singer-songwriter who has always found home on stage."
Lotty Carrington is an international singer-songwriter who blends pop, R&B, soul and contemporary influences into emotionally honest music. She began singing lessons at nine, performing lead roles in musicals including Matilda and Annie, and released her first single at fifteen.
She studies at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York, developing an acoustic pop sound shaped by artists from Amy Winehouse and Adele to Olivia Dean and Raye. Her catalogue spans four languages — English, Portuguese, Italian, and Spanish.
Her debut EP "We've All Loved Like This — Ficamos Por Aqui" was written in New York and recorded entirely at Arda Studios in Porto. The five-track project explores the way a generation experiences love: intense, confusing, fleeting, and often unfinished.
She has performed at Exponor (1,000+ audience), Hot Five jazz club, and NPR Tiny Desk 2.0 at The New School. Her training includes Berklee Valencia Summer Program and Berklee Umbria Jazz Clinics, where she performed at the Umbria Jazz Festival.
